Here, you’ll find support, real information, and lots of love,

Did You Just Hear That Your Baby Has Clubfoot

If you’ve just been told that your baby has clubfoot,
or if it caught you by surprise right at birth—just like it happened to me—
this letter is for you.

I wrote it from the heart, thinking of every mom, dad, or family who, like us, feels lost when hearing those two words for the first time.

I wish someone had given me this letter when I found out my little girl was born with her tiny, different feet.
Today, I want to make sure you have it.

Our Story

Let me be completely honest with you…

When my daughter Halia was born, I had no idea what clubfoot was.
Not once did anyone mention it during my pregnancy.
So you can imagine the shock when I saw her tiny twisted feet for the first time…

I won’t lie to you—it felt like my world collapsed.

They told me about the Ponseti Method, that there was a solution, that I didn’t need to worry…
But let’s be honest—saying it is easy, right?

The truth is, I felt lost.
With a thousand doubts, with fear… and so alone.

And I’m pretty sure you’ve heard this more than once too…

That typical phrase:
"Come on, it’s nothing. There’s a solution. You should be grateful it’s just that."

Sound familiar?
Because I heard it a thousand times.

And yes… of course I’m grateful.
Of course I am.

But I also wish I didn’t have to feel grateful for something that, honestly… hurts.

It hurts to see your little one go through casts, procedures, pre-ops, sleepless nights
It hurts every time you wonder if you’re doing things right.
It hurts, and only those of us who live it know what it really feels like.
Only those who go through it know how heavy this is on the heart.

That’s why Pasitos Valientes was born.

Because I refuse to let you go through this in silence,
to make you feel like you’re overreacting,
or like you don’t have the right to feel what you feel.

Here, you won’t find empty words.
Here, you’ll find someone who truly understands you.
Someone who knows what’s behind every tiny step.
Someone who wants you to feel part of something bigger,
a real community made of moms, dads, and families just like you and me.

Because this journey, even when it feels scary,
is much easier when we walk it together.

And yes, I invite you to stay, to share this journey with me,
and with all the families who are already here.

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned…
it’s that together, we are stronger.
